Rohit Gupta

Rohit is currently working as a Vice President at ARC Group Singapore specializing in Investment Banking. He has over 6 years of experience dealing in securities and Investment banking across the Asia Pacific region. In his current role, he has advised over a vast array of transactions across different product types, which include IPOs, Secondaries, SPACs, PIPE’s, and Private Capital raising. His public and private offering transactional experience span a broad range of industries, having assisted in raising over $600mm in the form of Equity and Debt representing companies with an aggregate value over USD 20bn.

Rohit has previously worked at Hedgestone Capital (Hedge Fund) in Hong Kong trading Equity Indices and has experience in US Fixed income markets during his stint as a Prop trader at Futures First. He completed his MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2016 was also awarded the Global Leadership award among the top 50 B schools at St Gallen university- Switzerland for his initiatives in peer-to-peer learning activities.

Ulrik Karlsen

M&A professional based in Shanghai since 2014 with a focus on cross-border advisory services for a variety of industries. Based in China, Ulrik has been engaged in different transactions and strategic business processes on behalf of international companies ranging from startups to listed companies. Ulrik has hands-on experience managing mandates including sell-side, buy-side, fundraisers, and special cases with focus on the Nordic market. Prior to joining ARC Group, Ulrik was the CEO and founder of a boutique M&A advisory firm named Norient Advisors since 2019. This platform was created together with a Norwegian investment firm as a missing bridge in terms of serving Nordic companies pursuing M&A transactions in the Chinese market. Ulrik’s passion for M&A advisory started as an analyst for E.J.McKay & Co in Shanghai, also covering the Nordic market. Besides China, Ulrik has resided in Myanmar as a Business Development Manager for a Norwegian TMT supplier servicing and investing in telecom infrastructure in emerging markets. Ulrik has holds a Master of International Business from Hult International Business School as well as a Bsc. Business Management from BI Norwegian Business School.

Mr. Vivas is an Associate Director at ARC Group working in Mexico and Peru. Before joining ARC, he worked at ResponsAbility Investments for deals in Latinamerica, Deutsche Bank in London and Alpha Capital in New York. He covers deals across USA and Latinamerica including Mexico, Brazil, Peru. His broad experience has covered transactions across different industries, having participated in different stages across different debt and equity transactions including origination, financial modeling, pitch decks through the closing deal stage.

Jerry Zhu

Jerry Zhu graduated from the University of Oxford with a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics and received a Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from Columbia University. Prior to joining ARC, Jerry had IBD work experience at InvesTarget and Lazard, where he participated in several deals including assisting in the divestment of 80% of Carrefour China to Suning and MG stationery fund’s acquisition of Peleg Design’s 70% stake. Jerry has also built decent expertise in industry research and secondary market from equity research experience at CICC. Besides, Jerry had an entrepreneurship experience in the retail services industry.
