Tilman Georg Eckstein

Tilman has more than 35 years of experience in the banking, automotive and management consulting sectors. He began his career in International Sales and Marketing at the BMW Group. For two Munich-based consulting firms, he worked on numerous transformation projects and in the investment sector (VC / PE). Over the past 15 years, Tilman has led numerous M&A transactions. He is a trained banker (Dresdner Bank) and holds a degree in business administration from the University of Cologne. At S&P, he heads the Automotive & Mobility industry group and is a member of the Logistics and Health Care groups. He has international experience in the UK, USA, South Africa, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Tilman speaks German, English and French. He is part of the Munich team of S&P and lives in the Bremen area.

3 years at Deloitte, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. 14 years at Rickitt Mitchell, leaving as Partner having completed 50+ transactions. 3 years as Finance Director in a private equity-backed building management systems business. 12 years at Grant Thornton Corporate Finance, leaving as a Partner after completing a further 30+ transactions. Rejoined Rickitt Mitchell as Partner in 2026.

– Support mid-market buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions (€20m–€150m EV), spanning full deal execution from origination
through closing.

Previous experience in M&A Transaction Services at KPMG:
– Selected closed transactions: buy-side FDD for The Carlyle Group on its acquisition of Seidor (TMT); buy-side FDD for Labomar on its
acquisition of Laboratorios Entema (health & nutrition); buy-side FDD for Grupo AN on its acquisition of Grupo Borau (agri-food);
buy-side FDD for Ufenau Capital on its acquisition of Geopol (education); buy-side FDD for Tilt Capital Partners on Negratin Global
Services (energy).
– Additional deal exposure across ongoing mandates in real estate services, energy & utilities (Repsol), maritime services and
professional services (BPO/BTO).
