Zilor and BTG Pactual Asset Create FIDC for Sugarcane Suppliers
Zilor, a leading
Brazilian agribusiness company, has developed a partnership with BTG Pactual Asset Management
to create a Fund named - Credit Rights Investment Fund (FIDC), to finance sugarcane
suppliers. This Fund will provide sugarcane producers with better access to
working capital, ensuring stable cash flow and greater financial flexibility
for those involved in the sugarcane supply chain.
Galapagos Capital, our Partner in Brazil, advised this operation.
This fund structure is designed to strengthen the relationship between
Zilor and its suppliers by offering favourable financing conditions. Through
this partnership, BTG Pactual Asset will manage the fund, while Zilor provides
backing by guaranteeing credit receivables from its suppliers. The initiative
is expected to streamline financial operations for sugarcane producers,
promoting sustainable growth in the sector.
