Mokate and Kubara established a strategic partnership in Poland

Mokate and Kubara, the two Polish family owned companies established a strategic partnership, which will result in the acquisition of 50% of shares in Kubara Sp. z o.o. by Mokate Sp. z o.o.

JP Weber, our Partner in Poland, advised the shareholders of Kubara in this transaction. 

Kubara, a producer of natural breakfast products and snacks will thus obtain a strong investor enabling it to grow even faster on international markets and further develop its products. Under the agreement members of the Kubara family will remain on the company's board and the company will continue to create products along the same lines it has followed since 1993 - free of artificial additives, full of nutritional value, delicious and natural. 

Mokate Sp. z o.o. is part of Mokate Group which operates in Poland and on international markets, mainly in the area of production and sales of bean and ground coffee, instant coffee and coffee drinks, tea, confectionery bakery products and semi-finished products for food industry. The company has been successful on foreign markets for years, exporting its products to over 70 countries in the world. 

Both companies started as family businesses in the 1990s and are led by the second generation, who have remained true to the family values and combined them with creativity and an innovative approach to their products. 

Kubara's net sales in 2021 totaled PLN 55.9m.
