Royal De Heus, an internationally operating producer of high-quality animal feed from Ede, is acquiring Coppens Diervoeding from Helmond. Both family businesses are joining forces to flexibly produce pig and broiler feed and optimize existing capacity.

Given the challenging national market conditions combined with global opportunities, Aeternus, our Partner in the Netherlands, along with Coppens Diervoeding, has selected Royal De Heus as the best strategic partner. Strategically located in Helmond, Coppens operates a modern animal feed factory with a capacity of 400,000 tons. The company has established a strong regional position in the pig and broiler sectors.

For nearly 100 years, Coppens has consistently responded flexibly and effectively to changing market conditions, and even anticipated them. In recent years, Coppens has also seen its sales volumes increase, partly due to the acquisition of the internationally operating Swinco in 2018.
