ACTIVE M&A Partners has successfully advised the engineering and planning group Formicon on its partnership with Ingenieurteam Trebes, marking the fourth transaction completed for Formicon. Ingenieurteam Trebes is among Northern Germany's leading independent structural engineering consultancies. Founded in 1971, the firm employs around 100 professionals across five offices and provides structural engineering design and review services. Its team includes state-certified test engineers for concrete, steel, and timber structures—a highly scarce qualification in the German market. Drawing on experience from more than 16,000 projects, Trebes serves industrial and public-sector clients across civil engineering, defence, healthcare, education, energy, and commercial infrastructure.
