Aeternus advises Kappé on sale to Schiphol
As of 1 January 2024, Schiphol will acquire 100% of the shares of family business Kappé. With the acquisition of the airport retailer, Schiphol is taking the next step towards renewing the retail offering at the airport.
With more than three hundred employees and fifteen stores, Kappé is responsible for a significant portion of the range of perfumes, cosmetics, sunglasses and drugstore items at Schiphol. Schiphol emphasizes that the continuity of the stores and employees is central and intends to continue the company and invest in the stores. Schiphol speaks of this as - a next step towards the renewal of the retail offering at the airport.

Kappé has been a commercial retailer at Schiphol since 1950 and is therefore an important partner, with the following well-known store concepts Perfumes & Cosmetics, Drugstore and Sunglasses. Kappé employs over three hundred people. The family business was led by Jacques Parson for years.
