Cypress advised FIP Pirineus on the acquisition of Eletrobras’ participation on Eólica Mangue Seco 2, corresponding to 49% of the total share capital. FIP Pirineus was created in 2015 and invests in projects of clean energy and renewable sources.
The transaction was approved by the Competition Authority (CADE) and awaits the permission of the Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL).
