After graduating in Business Economics, Giuseppe Zammarchi began his career at Arthur Andersen in 1997. In 2000, he joined UniCredit in the Investor Relations team. After dealing with relations with institutional investors and equity analysts, he took on the responsibility of the Executive Communications team and then joined the Chief Risk Officer’s staff, also managing the project to strengthen the Group’s risk culture. In 2017, he joined the Group Sustainability team, which he took over as leader in November of the same year.
Today, within the Group Strategy and ESG structure led by Fiona Melrose, Giuseppe is responsible for the definition of ESG metrics, Policies on sensitive sectors, the group Net Zero alignment project and all sustainability disclosures of the UniCredit Group.
