Tudor Mafteianu
At BCP, Tudor is managing selected client relationships and investment banking projects, across all stages of the transaction life cycle, from deal origination and execution up to closing. Tudor also focuses on key relationships with investors and corporates, as well as the general management of the firm.
Tudor is a financial services professional with Private Equity and Mergers & acquisitions experience across Europe. Held roles with an entrepreneurial investment banking firm (Blu Capital Partners), a large institutional private equity fund in Amsterdam (AlpInvest Partners – The Carlyle Group) and a direct private equity/hybrid debt fund in Paris (ICG).
Striving for excellence, I am a results-oriented and proactive professional with both analytical and communication skills. I gained a broad set of hard skills such as market analysis, financial and strategic analysis, business valuation, project management, transaction execution and due diligence, with the end vision of fulfilling investors’ expectations. In addition, my soft skills encompass teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, and cross-cultural communication.
Tudor graduated from Paris 1 Sorbonne Management School (MSc in Economics, Management & Finance) and in Architecture (BsC from Ecole Nationale Superieure de Paris La Villette). Tudor performed executive training for business valuation with Aswath Damodaran, the ‘Dean of Valuation’.
Specialities: Transaction structuring, business valuation, capital raising, financial and strategic analysis, due diligence.
Prior to BCP, Tudor worked in private/debt investments with global investment firms including AlpInvest Partners (The Carlyle Group) and Rothschild Merchant Banking.
